Measure from shoulder to opposite hip    Generally, your size is the measurement from the middle of your shoulder bone to the top of your opposite hip bone.

To measure from shoulder to hip: use a soft tape measure and start at the outer corner of your shoulder and measure diagonally across your body down to your hip bone. The number (in inches) should be in the 20s.

The baby should be carried near your center of gravity.  The curve of the sling should reach just below your naval when the baby is in it. The sling should be spread out flat across your back and over your shoulder. It should not dig into your neck or slide off of your shoulder.

Each one of my slings has 1 Adjustable snap setting.  This allows the carrier to be able to adjust the sling as the baby grows and/or if the carrier would like to wear a sweater, jacket, etc.

Closed Sling

When your sling is snapped at the lowest setting, this will be the size of the sling that you order.  When you snap at the highest setting, this setting will go up in 1 size.  When you adjust the snaps to the high setting you are lengthing the pouch, therefore making more room in the pouch.

ALWAYS keep the snaps on the setting that is appropriate for whatever you are wearing or the position you are using for your baby. The sling should never be on a setting that makes the pouch feel "sloppy" or "big".**
